I'm confused about the process for approving the "join" form.  Isn't
that something that the LC should help vet prior to being made live?  If
that's not in the purview of the LC for some reason, I'd personally like
to see if as soon as is reasonable.

I'm very interested in seeing that the language be as user-friendly as
possible.

Whatever we end up with, we need to make sure the first-time visitors to
the site clearly understand what discussions are happening on which
lists.  That's going to be a UI and information architecture challenge
more than anything.
